Colombes 1st International Recreational Ice Hockey Tournament
Abstract
The MillePattes of Colombes (Recreational Team) are used to run an annual end of season tournament on their rink.
For the first time ever; they will make that event international!
The tournament will be play on Colombes ice rink arena
A 56 x 26 meters ice surface, glass walled rink
1 000 seats for spectators, with bar & restaurant facilities.
Located just 8 kilometers from Paris west border.
The Tournament will be played on May 25th & 26th 2013.
8 Teams - 2 divisions
3 division games of 2 x 25 minutes non stopped time for each team.
And a final ranking game of 2 x 25 minutes non stopped time game + eventual shootout.
2 games per day for each team
Gold medal game will be played 2 x 20 minutes stopped time + eventual 10 minutes sudden death overtime + eventual shootout.
Priority will be given to recreational teams (one by country) after qualification review.
NO ACTIVE LEAGUE PLAYERS ALLOWED
Tournament will be play under standard IIHF rules but NON CHECKING rules (recreational).
Registration cost is set at 350 (euros) per team for organization, ice time, locker & referring.
Perpetual trophies will be granted to Top 3 teams.
A lunch service for players and accompanying people will be provided at 8 per lunch on a reservation and prepayment basis.
Extra snack food and bar services will be provided during the full event.
We will do our best to facilitate your venue, accommodation, transportation but will not manage it!
